Safeguarding

Support must always be safe, respectful and accountable

This statement explains the principles guiding Embrace Revert UK while fuller procedures and volunteer frameworks are developed.

Our safeguarding commitment

Embrace Revert UK is committed to protecting children and adults who may be at risk of harm. Concerns will be taken seriously, handled with appropriate confidentiality and referred to suitable authorities or specialist services where required.

Volunteers must work within defined roles and must not present themselves as qualified counsellors, doctors, lawyers, social workers or Islamic scholars unless appropriately qualified.

Immediate danger

Embrace Revert UK is not an emergency service. In the UK, call 999 if a person is in immediate danger or a crime is taking place.

For non-emergency police assistance, use 101.
